Meghan Markle opens up about her miscarriage

Meghan Markle has finally spoken up about the New York Times report which stated that she suffered a miscarriage in July this year. She unveiled some of her tragic moments from her miscarriage in an interview. Meghan, like a real person, owned her experiences and shared that she was pregnant for the second time in the summer.

Meghan stated that while she was changing her first son Archie’s diaper, she felt an emotional ache right in the heart. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” she said. Actually, to be more precise, Markle revived falling down on the floor with Archie in her arms. Meghan said that she was singing a lullaby to keep everyone calm. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” she said.

Meghan also recalled being admitted to the hospital while holding her husband, Prince Harry’s hand. “I felt the clamminess of his palm and kissed his knuckles, wet from both our tears. Staring at the cold white walls, my eyes glazed over,” she expressed.

Calling the year ‘universally challenging for everyone’, Meghan thanked people who stood up to “made sure the basic needs of the community were met”. She was heard saying, “They made sure those around them did not have to suffer in isolation.” and “We saw the good in people, in our neighbors, and in entire communities coming together to say they would not stand by while our neighbors went hungry,” Meghan shared.
