Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘National Crush’ successor to have twins in Bad Newz

Tripti Dimri, the Bollywood actress who recently gained some extra attention for her performance in the film Animal, and was promoted as the new National Crush after Rashmika Mandanna, is set to take on a unique and challenging role in the upcoming movie Bad Newz.

The film, directed by Anand Tiwari, will see Dimri portraying a woman who becomes pregnant with twins, each having a different father – a rare medical condition known as heteroparental superfecundation. This condition occurs when a woman releases multiple eggs during ovulation and is sexually involved with multiple partners in a short period of time, leading to fertilization by sperm from different men. As a result, the twins are half-siblings who share the same womb but have different fathers.

Dimri will be starring alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in the comedy film, which is based on true events and aims to shed light on this unusual medical phenomenon. Bad Newz is a movie highlighting this condition and its struggles.
